The Link G4X NS13X is a plug-in ECU for Nissan Silvia and 180SX models that use the 76-pin blue ECU header: the CA18DET S13 Silvia and 180SX, and the pre-facelift S14 with the SR20DET. It fits inside the factory ECU case on the original loom with a startup map and an onboard MAP sensor. A jumper on the board sets the ignition pinout for the CA18 or the SR20.

Fits

  • Nissan Silvia S13 with the CA18DET
  • Nissan 180SX with the CA18DET
  • Nissan Silvia S14 (pre-facelift) with the SR20DET
  • Designed for manual-transmission cars

Before you order

  • 76-pin blue header only. Cars with the 64-pin blue header (SR20DET S13 and 180SX, facelift S14a, S15) need the NS15X (217-4100).
  • Link lists Japanese-market vehicles only; in North America this means imported cars. The North American 240SX with the KA24E or KA24DE is not a listed application.
  • Designed for manual-transmission cars. If yours is an automatic, contact us before ordering.
  • A factory intake air temperature sensor is present on CA18 cars only; SR20 cars need one wired through the expansion connector.
  • Electronic throttle (drive-by-wire) control is not usable out of the box; Link says this unit needs a modification first.
  • Known issue noted by Link: the factory optical crank angle sensor can cause trigger errors at high rpm or with aftermarket cams and valve springs; an aftermarket trigger disc or a crank trigger is the usual cure.
  • Configuration choice: Standard is the ECU as Link builds it. With E-Throttle Upgrade adds Link's factory modification (part 400-0100) so the ECU can drive an electronic throttle body. Link's HQ carries it out on a new ECU before it ships, which adds about 3 weeks. Link only modifies new ECUs, so an ECU you already own has to go through Link's tech support instead.
