The Link G4X NS15X is a plug-in ECU for Nissan SR20 applications with the 64-pin blue ECU header, from the SR20DET S13 Silvia and 180SX through the S14a and S15, plus the Pulsar models listed below. It installs in the factory ECU case on the original loom with an onboard MAP sensor and a startup map. Board jumpers match early (1991-1993) or later (1994-2002) SR20DET wiring.

Fits

  • Nissan Silvia S13 and 180SX with the SR20DET (not the CA18DET)
  • Nissan Silvia S14a (facelift) with the SR20DET
  • Nissan Silvia S15 with the SR20DET or SR20DE
  • Nissan Pulsar GTI-R (RNN14) with the SR20DET
  • Nissan Pulsar N15 with the SR16VE
  • Nissan Pulsar N14 with distributor ignition
  • Manual transmission only

Before you order

  • 64-pin blue header only. 76-pin header cars (CA18DET S13 and 180SX, pre-facelift S14) need the NS13X (216-4000).
  • Link lists Japanese and other non-North American models only. The North American 240SX with the KA24E or KA24DE is not a listed application.
  • Manual transmission only.
  • Set the board jumpers for a 1991-1993 or a 1994-2002 SR20DET; Link suggests checking which header pins your coils use to confirm.
  • Electronic throttle (drive-by-wire) control needs an expansion connector before it can be used.
  • CAN accessories connect through the new 4-pin powered CAN port, so use the CANJST4 cable (101-0198), not the older CANPCB cable.
  • Known issue noted by Link: the factory optical crank angle sensor can cause trigger errors at high rpm or with aftermarket cams and valve springs; an aftermarket trigger disc or a crank trigger is the usual cure.

Highlights

  • Onboard MAP sensor, rated 4 bar or 7 bar depending on board revision
  • Several IAT wiring options, including through the main header or the airflow meter signal with a jumper
  • Two CAN buses; on V1.8 and later boards both use powered 4-pin connectors with a protected 12 V supply
  • Electronic throttle outputs and four analog inputs on an expansion connector (V1.8 and later boards)
  • G4X core features: flex fuel, open and closed-loop boost control, dual closed-loop lambda, VVT control, a built-in trigger oscilloscope and 512 MB of onboard logging
  • Motorsport functions: launch control, anti-lag, traction control, nitrous control, cruise control, gear shift and paddle shift control
  • USB tuning cable in the box; PCLink tuning software is a free download from Link
