Wisefab Front DIY Drift Kit, BMW E36 3 Series (WF363)

A budget route to Wisefab geometry for the E36. You build the kit by extending factory control arms with Wisefab's parts and welding jig, which keeps cost and track width down. It takes careful measuring, cutting and welding, and the result is a capable lock kit for street or competition. The knuckle add-on is the same part Wisefab uses in its pro kits.

Before you order

• Not a bolt-on. Expect cutting and welding; read Wisefab's installation manual before and after you buy to judge the tools and work involved.
• You supply factory E36 control arms: non-M 1991-1999 steel arms with the 49 mm outer ball joint. Full lock on an E36 needs the arm widened 60 mm.
• Tie rods are not included. Wisefab lists Ford/Mazda inner tie rods EC0132240 or YL8Z3280EA and tie rod ends EC0132280 or 5L843289AA. The inner end must be M14x1.5 male at the rack, the outer end M16x1.5 male.
• Camber plates are not included. Factory struts work, but coilovers and/or adjustable top mounts are advised. Depending on tire size and lock stop setting, the tire may touch the anti-roll bar at full lock.
