Link G4X JZX90X Plug-In ECU, Toyota Chaser, Mark II, Cresta JZX90 and Soarer JZZ30 1JZ-GTE

The JZX90X is Link's G4X plug-in ECU for the JZX90 Chaser, Mark II and Cresta with the non-VVT-i 1JZ-GTE, and it is pin compatible with the JZZ30 Soarer. In the X90 cars the Link board fits inside the factory ECU case under the dash on the original loom, and it ships with a startup map for the first start.

Before you order

• Designed for manual-transmission cars. If your car is an automatic, contact us before ordering to talk through automatic transmission control.
• Compare the connector on your factory ECU with the header shown in the product photos before ordering.
• Soarer owners: the JZX90X is pin compatible with the JZZ30 but will not fit inside the Soarer's own ECU case, so plan a different mounting.
• Link lists the 1JZ-GTE Soarer (JZZ30) only; the Lexus SC300 and SC400 are not on the list.
• The factory traction control (TRC) system is not supported, and the TRC light may come on.
• Electronic throttle runs from the board's dedicated E-Throttle expansion connector, which needs a loom (sold separately).
• The board has 4-pin powered CAN connectors; CAN devices connect with Link's CANJST4 cable (101-0198), not the older CANPCB cable.
• Installation: the Link board mounts on the factory base plate inside the original ECU case. The case's centre bar may need cutting out and the slot around the header widening for cables.
• It arrives with a base map that gets the engine started; that is a starting point, not a finished tune. Tuning is done in Link's free PCLink software on a Windows laptop, and the USB tuning cable is in the box.
