This bundle pairs the G4X StormX, Link's mid-range G4X wire-in for engines up to eight cylinders or four rotors, with both 2.5 m wiring looms, a CAN Lambda wideband controller with a Bosch LSU 4.9 sensor, a 4 bar MAP sensor and an intake air temperature sensor. The 4 bar MAP sensor suits turbo or supercharged engines running up to 3.0 bar (44 psi) of boost. It is aimed at street and motorsport builds that need more I/O than the entry-level units and features such as launch control, anti-lag, nitrous and full gear shift control. The StormX has no e-throttle drive, so drive-by-wire engines should look at the XtremeX or FuryX.

In the bundle

  • G4X StormX wire-in ECU (108-4000), with its USB tuning cable, mounting bracket and quick start guide
  • 2LA A loom, 2.5 m
  • 2LB B loom, 2.5 m
  • CAN Lambda wideband controller with a Bosch LSU 4.9 sensor
  • Link 4 bar MAP sensor
  • Intake air temperature (IAT) sensor with a 1/8" NPT thread
  • Deutsch DTM connector kit with each sensor

Highlights

  • The CAN Lambda gives fast, accurate live lambda without using up any digital or analogue voltage inputs on the ECU
  • The 4 bar MAP sensor suits turbo or supercharged engines running up to 3.0 bar (44 psi) of boost
  • 8 injection and 8 ignition drives for sequential injection and direct spark on up to 8 cylinders or 4 rotors
  • Two knock inputs, plus +5V and +8V sensor supplies
  • VVT control, open- and closed-loop boost control, dual closed-loop lambda and flex fuel
  • Launch control, anti-lag, nitrous control, full gear shift and paddle shift control, race timer and power management
  • Stepper motor idle control, rotary oil metering pump control, a built-in trigger oscilloscope and 512MB of onboard logging
