A ready-to-go way to connect a Link ECU to a Gen 4 (LS2, LS3, LS7 and LSA) drive-by-wire LS V8, with the fuse and relay box included. It pairs the G4X XtremeX with the Terminated LS Engine Harness, the Gen 4 adapters (DBW throttle loom, factory knock sensor loom, factory MAP sensor harness, cam sensor harness and eight injector adapters) and Link's LS Fuse and Relay Box.

In the bundle

  • G4X XtremeX wire-in ECU (109-4000), 8 injection and 8 ignition drives, with its USB tuning cable, mounting bracket and quick start guide
  • Link Terminated Engine Harness for GM LS Gen 3/4 (101-0300)
  • LS DBW Adapter Loom (101-0304)
  • LS Gen 4 Knock Adapter Loom (101-0306)
  • LS Gen 4 MAP Adapter Harness (101-0308)
  • LS Cam Sensor Adapter Harness (101-0307)
  • 8 x Bosch male to female injector adapters (101-0287)
  • LS Fuse and Relay Box (101-0310)

Highlights

  • Fully programmable e-throttle control, with gear shift throttle blip and anti-lag capability
  • Cruise control, traction control, launch control and full gear shift control
  • Two independent CAN modules and 30 general-purpose tables (up from 20)
  • Advanced closed-loop lambda strategy with dual bank lambda control
  • Includes the LS Fuse and Relay Box (101-0310) with main chassis flying leads: a large red Batt+ wire for ECU main power, a red-green Fan wire and a red-blue Fuel Pump wire (ECU-controlled +12V, 20A continuous each) and a grey-black Ign Sw wire for the ignition switch
  • Harness built with Link's AVSS automotive wire in standard Link colours, tested for pinout, shorts and insulation resistance before shipping
  • EV1/JPT injector connectors that plug directly into common LS1 injectors
  • Spare I/O on a Spares connector for extra sensors, switches or custom additions
  • Sealed JPT terminals (TE Connectivity JPT family) in the chassis connector

Still required

  • One small modification to the crank sensor connector is still required; see the crank connector section of Link's installation manual

Harness connectors

  • Pedal connector (drive-by-wire pedal): 5V, sensor ground and two analog voltage inputs
  • CAN2 connector for lambda modules, displays, keypads and other CAN devices
  • MAP connector for Link MAP sensors (adapters available for factory LS MAP sensors)
  • Knock connector for up to two knock sensors (adapters available for Gen 3 or Gen 4 factory sensors)
  • Alternator connector for F Body alternators, with the exciter/lamp wire to terminal B
  • Trans connector for a reverse switch, DI or other cabin signal
  • IAC connector for a 4-wire stepper IAC; if no IAC is used, those channels can serve other functions such as a boost valve or nitrous
  • TPS connector for cable-throttle sensors, which can be repurposed on drive-by-wire builds
  • DBW connector for drive-by-wire throttle bodies (analog inputs, 5V, sensor ground), which can be repurposed on cable-throttle engines
