A ready-to-go way to connect a Link ECU to a Gen 3 (LS1 and LS6) cable throttle LS V8, with the fuse and relay box included. It pairs the G4X StormX with the Terminated LS Engine Harness, the stepper, MAP and knock adapters, and Link's LS Fuse and Relay Box for fused power and ECU-controlled fuel pump and fan relays. It is not for Gen 4 engines.

In the bundle

  • G4X StormX wire-in ECU (108-4000), 8 injection and 8 ignition drives, with its USB tuning cable, mounting bracket and quick start guide
  • Link Terminated Engine Harness for GM LS Gen 3/4 (101-0300)
  • LS Stepper Adapter Harness (101-0301)
  • LS MAP Adapter Harness (101-0302)
  • LS Gen 3 Knock Adapter Loom (101-0305)
  • LS Fuse and Relay Box (101-0310)

Highlights

  • Built-in trigger oscilloscope
  • Onboard knock control for two knock sensors wired directly to the ECU, no external amplifier required
  • Open or closed loop boost control with up to three switchable tables
  • Idle valve solenoid or stepper motor control, and rotary oil metering pump control
  • Full gear shift control, anti-lag and launch control
  • Up to four fully variable closed-loop VVT cams
  • Harness is designed to match the PCLink base map I/O setup, so most engines can be made to run with minimal adjustments
  • Includes the LS Fuse and Relay Box (101-0310) with main chassis flying leads: a large red Batt+ wire for ECU main power, a red-green Fan wire and a red-blue Fuel Pump wire (ECU-controlled +12V, 20A continuous each) and a grey-black Ign Sw wire for the ignition switch
  • Harness built with Link's AVSS automotive wire in standard Link colours, tested for pinout, shorts and insulation resistance before shipping
  • EV1/JPT injector connectors that plug directly into common LS1 injectors
  • Spare I/O on a Spares connector for extra sensors, switches or custom additions
  • Sealed JPT terminals (TE Connectivity JPT family) in the chassis connector

Link points Gen 4 LS engines to a different bundle, 109-9020B.

Harness connectors

  • Pedal connector (drive-by-wire pedal): 5V, sensor ground and two analog voltage inputs
  • CAN2 connector for lambda modules, displays, keypads and other CAN devices
  • MAP connector for Link MAP sensors (adapters available for factory LS MAP sensors)
  • Knock connector for up to two knock sensors (adapters available for Gen 3 or Gen 4 factory sensors)
  • Alternator connector for F Body alternators, with the exciter/lamp wire to terminal B
  • Trans connector for a reverse switch, DI or other cabin signal
  • IAC connector for a 4-wire stepper IAC; if no IAC is used, those channels can serve other functions such as a boost valve or nitrous
  • TPS connector for cable-throttle sensors, which can be repurposed on drive-by-wire builds
  • DBW connector for drive-by-wire throttle bodies (analog inputs, 5V, sensor ground), which can be repurposed on cable-throttle engines
